Delivery Information
MINIMUM ORDER VALUE £10
Our current dispatch time for orders is within 2 weeks. Please indicate in the comments box if you are going to be away on holiday, or need your plants urgently.
If there is any delay, usually due to extreme weather conditions, we will let you know and keep you informed. You will receive an email from us when your order has been despatched.
Plants are carefully packed in boxes with lots of paper to protect them and stop them moving around in transit. (See 'How we send our plants to you'.)
We use an express courier service or Royal Mail and you can expect delivery 1-2 days after despatch (2-5 days for Highlands and offshore Islands). We despatch from the Nursery on Monday to Thursdays only so parcels aren't held up at the depot over the weekend.
FREE LOCAL DELIVERY
Orders over £35 to postcodes IP1 to IP8 and CO10 are eligible for our free local delivery service. We will deliver these in person by our own transport.
COLLECT FROM NURSERY
You are welcome to visit the nursery by prior arrangement (Elmsett in Suffolk IP7 6LZ) to collect your order if you wish. There is no minimum order value. Please allow 1-3 days for us to prepare your order and wait for us to contact you to let you know when your plants are ready before coming to the nursery. WE CAN ONLY SHIP TO UK ADDRESSES (excluding Northern Ireland). ALL PLANTS SEEDS AND BULBS EXPORTED FROM THE UK REQUIRE A PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATE THE COST OF THIS IS PROHIBITIVE. UNFORTUNATELY BECAUSE NORTHERN IRELAND BORDERS AN EU COUNTRY THERE IS A REQUIREMENT FOR A PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATE FOR ANY SHIPMENT. THIS IS TOO COSTLY, WE ARE VERY SORRY BUT WE CAN NO LONGER SHIP PLANTS TO NORTHERN IRELAND. REGARDLESS OF THE IMPORT REGULATIONS OF ANY COUNTRY IT IS THE BRITISH PLANT HEALTH REGULATIONS THAT WE HAVE TO ADHERE TO, SORRY THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
