Christmas .....

We will suspend sending mail orders from Wednesday 4th December, starting again, weather permitting,  from 6th January 2025. Orders placed after Wednesday 27th November will be sent after Christmas. Most of our plants are now under cover, dormant and not looking at their summer best, so we encourage you to look at our eGift Vouchers as an alternative.

Hoya carnosa

£7.50
Currently being propagated, please ask as we may have some, or we can at least let you know when they will hopefully be available
+

A succulent climber with neat clusters of night-scented, waxy, pink flowers with a red eye from late spring-autumn. Trim to shape after flowering.

Like other Hoyas it is best kept slightly pot bound and likes a humid atmosphere. Hoyas need a very well drained compost. We recommend an equal mix of peat free compost, bark (you can use orchid bark if you have some) and either perlite or washed horticultural grit or sand. Never over water and keep on the dry side in winter. Do not over feed Hoyas. A balanced liquid fertiliser a few times a year is sufficient.
