Christmas .....
We will suspend sending mail orders from Wednesday 4th December, starting again, weather permitting,  from 6th January 2025. Most of our plants will be under cover, dormant and probably not looking at their summer best, so we encourage you to look at our eGift Vouchers as an alternative.

Justicia brandegeeana - red flowered form

£7.50
Currently being propagated, please ask as we may have some, or we can at least let you know when they will hopefully be available
+

A form of the popular house plant which produces curious red bracts which house small tubular red flowers. The bracts last long after flowers have faded giving it a long season of interest. Likes a well-lit position but away from scorching sun. Pinch out regularly to keep bushy. Can eventually make a fairly large specimen for a pot if potted on each year. Originating from Southern USA and Mexico means that this is not hardy in the UK. You can stand it out for the summer if you wish but it must be brought in by the end of the summer, well before any frost
