Tomato Cocktail Crush F1

A standard size red tomato with fruits weighing 35-40g, sweet to taste with a slight acid tangy flavour. Similar in habit and flavour to old favourite Ailsa Craig, but with the added benefit of showing good blight resistance. Ideal for growing outdoors or in a cold glasshouse.
An excellent source of vitamin C and lycopene. 

WHERE TO SOW Sow under glass 0.5cm (1/4") deep in pots or trays of good sowing compost and cover with a light sprinkling of vermiculite or compost. Place containers in a propagator at 18-21°C.
WHAT TO DO NEXT Prick out seedlings, once large enough to handle into 9cm (3½") pots. Transplant to the greenhouse border soil, or individual large pots, or 3 plants per growbag when 20cm (8in) high. Can also be planted outdoors once all risk of frost has past. Plants require side-shooting and support for the best yields. Water and feed plants regularly with a high potash feed once the first truss has set.

HANDY TIP If growing outside pinch out the growing tip after 4-5 trusses of fruit have set.
